Leapmotor Officially Announces the Launch of the Lafa 5

On the evening of November 27th, Lafa 5, the all-new model under Leapmotor, was officially launched. A total of 5 variants of the new car were released, with an official price range of RMB 97,800 - 121,800 Yuan and a limited-time offer from RMB 92,800 to RMB 116,800 Yuan.

As an all-new model, the vehicle is built on the LEAP 3.5 architecture. The new vehicle adopts Leapmotor's family-style design language. The front face of the new vehicle features a closed grille paired with a thick full-width light strip, and the interior of the lamp assembly is equipped with segmented daytime running lights, which enhances its visual recognition. 

The new vehicle features a golden 50:50 front-to-rear axle load ratio. Its length, width, and height are 4,430 mm, 1,880 mm, and 1,520 mm respectively, with a wheelbase of 2,735 mm, positioning it as a pure electric compact car. In addition, the interior of the new vehicle is equipped with a large-sized panoramic sunroof, which has a size of 1.02 square meters and is paired with the only direct-drive electric sunshade in its class, delivering a strong overall sense of comfort.

The new vehicle is equipped with an 8.8-inch LCD instrument cluster and a 14.6-inch 2.5K high-definition central control screen, and its in-vehicle infotainment system is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8295P flagship chip.

The standard version of the new vehicle is equipped with a single-motor system. Depending on the configuration, it has a maximum power of 132kW and 160kW respectively, and offers two range versions: 515km and 605km.

In addition to the regular versions of the Leapmotor Lafa 5, Leapmotor will also launch the Leapmotor Lafa 5 Ultra version.

Leapmotor's current models on sale include the T-series model Leapmotor T03; the C-series models Leapmotor C11, Leapmotor C16, Leapmotor C10, and Leapmotor C01; and the B-series models Leapmotor B10 and Leapmotor B01. Looking ahead, Leapmotor will also launch two all-new models: Leapmotor A10 (the first model of the A-series) and Leapmotor D19 (of the D-series).
